Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a religious obligation for all financially able Muslims. It is considered a form of worship and a means of purifying one's wealth. This event will help with the understanding of zakat and its principles, how to properly calculate it and who (or what organizations) can be eligible for Zakat.

As Muslims, we believe in the concept of qadar, which refers to predestination. This means that Allah has determined everything that will happen in the universe, including our actions, before they occur. However, this does not negate the idea of free will. Rather, we have the ability to make choices, but Allah already knows what those choices will be. Understanding this concept helps us to have a greater appreciation of Allah's power and knowledge, and accept the events in our lives with patience and trust in Allah's plan. Join us on April 1, 2023 to learn more about this important concept.
